You're a spy who has to strangle aliens and kill all the right people. You're the torch-jumping, grenade-slinging super-assassin of the ill-fated mission. You're the water-logged, sand-shooting 15mm artillery buff of Sierra de las Nieves. You're not big and strong and fast, you are small and fast and your only strength is that you can think and act quickly. You can run as fast as a galloping horse, you can move through the air as if it were oil. You can spread your scarlet death like the leap of a salmon upstream, you can strike twice before your enemy can ever bother to turn his head, but you can never really rest. You are fast. You are deadly. You are very, very good.
2012 will see the release of two new video games, one from the legendary Valve studio and one from another fan favourite team of the Russian indie scene. Following the success of their self-published release Wild Terra, AtomicPanda and co. have teamed up with Valve to create Team Fortress 2: Reborn, a completely new take on the classic Team Fortress two game.
We are a team of three maniacs, a big fan of Team Fortress. We loved its easy gameplay, its bleak humor and its friendly feeling. We envisioned the game as the one that will bring the old good feeling to the gaming world.
We started our first attempts to create a recreation of Team Fortress approximately ten years ago when we started developing a small game engine. These days the game engine is quite powerful, and even though it's not officially released, we can proudly say that we managed to put a working recreation of Team Fortress 2 on the Steam Greenlight.
Our new Team Fortress will be titled Team Fortress 2: Reborn. We are very interested in the opinions of players who will be playing the game. We would also really love if Valve liked our project, especially our unique recreation of the in-game announcer. d2c66b5586
